Wasn't recognised correctly

 

Purchased from OfficeWorks hoping to preserve some old family slides we found, but was unable to get it installed. It shows up in device manager as a 5MP USB Scanner, and the included software, once installed, wouldn't even starts - the splash screen...

Couldn't be made to work.

kaiser baas Photomaker, got from Office works, does not work with mac....software dvd was stuffed and did not load, had to go to the website but still did not load correctly, then wasted more time, found a download, installed, where does my life go?...
