Kaiser Baas iPad PhotoScanner

Before the days of the digital camera, most people printed out pictures, meaning there are a lot of printed photos lying around. Using the Kaiser Baas iPad PhotoScanner you can scan and upload all of your favourite memories to your iPad.

Easy to use; good image quality; free app

No Lightning adapter; no manual included

Kyron Timbs is a 14-year-old from Western Australia whose life revolves around Apple.

Product brief: Kaiser Baas iPad PhotoScanner

We initially viewed this device with a fairly sceptical eye. A scanner? For the iPad? Who was this being marketed to? Well the answer, it turned out, was us, as we were soon quite impressed and charmed by turns.

We were also really quite taken with the design – Kaiser Baas has produced something that will actually look good on a desk. For the price, this is a very handy iPad accessory.

Kaiser Baas iPad Photo Scanner

There are entire generations of iPad owners who started their photo collections in the days before digital cameras. And that means drawers and boxes filled with memories that are captured on bits of paper.

Easy to use; image quality

Connection sometimes drops out

Overall, though, the Kaiser Baas iPad PhotoScanner is great looking device that converts your iPad into a powerful imaging and document workflow tool.

Yep, updated my software and alas, my 6 month old machine no longer scans. I used it once! Not happy! And I can't find my receipt.

Ripped off

We bought this scanner in good faith from Harvey Norman for our new iPad 4. The salesman assured us it would fit with a lightning connector. Wrong! The 30 pin connector does not balance the iPad and is therefore useless. The salesman also said there...

It doses not fit the latest iPad
