Looks a substantial lens but at the moment I can't use it as the supplied T2 adaptor won't fit my Sony Alpha 850, it is to tight and I don't wish to damage my camera. Why supply such a poor quality adaptor with potentially a reasonably good lens?

Well I have returned this lens, not because I think it is really bad, but because the T2 mount quickly becomes loose and makes the lens unusable. This is due to the weight of the lens and the fact that there isn't a tripod mount on the lens itself...

THE G12 CAMERA PHOTOS ARE VERY SHARP AND CLEAR, I TRIED USING THE TELEPHOTO AND WIDE ANGLE ATTACHMENTS I DIDNT ACCOMPLISH ANY USE OF THE LENSES, I DIDNT SEE ANY DIFFERENCE WITH THE ATTACHMENT OR WITH OUT, I REALY FEEL THAT MY MONEY WENT TO THE GARBAGE.

This hood works well on all of my lenses with 58mm filter threads. Have not noticed any additional vignetting on my APS-H Canon 1D Mark IV. It's a good price, looks nice and is made of sturdy plastic.

This filter is a tremendous value. Compared with the prices of other filters and the cost of converting a DSLR to take Infrared images, this is the best way to fly! Worth taking the effort to shoot with it for the cost factor!
