Say hello to Dyson's robot vacuum cleaner, the Dyson 360 Eye. More than 10 years and £28 million after its first attempt, Dyson thinks it's finally cracked the formula.

A great first robotic attempt from the vacuum specialists
Quiet operation ; App is easy to use ; Compact width
Not the most thorough clean ; Tall height
The 360 Eye is a great first attempt at a robotic vacuum cleaner from Dyson. It delivers the same exceptional build quality we’ve come to expect from the brand, and looks set to be a significant competitor to iRobot’s Roomba line. It’s got a couple of...

UPDATE: New software adds low power mode and battery gauge. Overall improvement: dubious so far
Great cleaning for a robot ; Small footprint
Navigation isn't class leading ; Feels overpriced ; No spot cleaning mode

The Dyson 360 Heurist is an update to the Dyson 360 Eye, its then first robot vacuum cleaner. So is it second-time success or difficult second album?
Impressive suction power results in superb cleaning ability ; Straightforward controls - physical / in app / Alexa voice ; Capable tank tracks help avoid obstacles being a problem
Often has to return to dock during cleans ; Not immune from geting stuck ; Tall - so won't fit under everything ; Small dustbin
A pricey robo-vac, but there's a reason for that: Dyson's second-gen automated cleaner has super power - whether on carpet, wood or otherwise - that helps it stand out from the crowd.

The Dyson 360 Eye is, in short, the best robotic vacuum on the market to date, but don't expect to never have to do the vacuuming again
Powerful cleaner ; Small enough to get into tight spaces ; Accompanying app makes for easy setup ; Future software updates get automatically added ; Day scheduling
Height means it won't fit under every thing (like low radiators) ; You'll need to remember to empty the dust bin ; No way to restricting to a room unless you close the door
The Dyson 360 Eye is pricey, there is no denying that, especially against the competition. Its £799 asking price is more than most other robo-vacs. However, it's markedly better than its competition so, pound for pound, we believe it's worth it.

Of the dozen-plus autonomous floor cleaners we've tested to date, it (mostly) holds its own alongside the best of the best. There's just one not-so-tiny problem -- price.
Dyson's 360 Eye robot vacuum systematically maps out floors, has a simple companion app for remote access, and is powerful enough to collect a lot of unwanted dirt and grime.
It costs $999/£800 and didn't perform as well as the similarly app-enabled $700 Neato Botvac Connected or the $900 iRobot Roomba 980.
The 360 Eye by Dyson is a very good robot vacuum, but competitors offer similar features and better performance for less.

Vac to the future: Dyson's second attempt at a robot vacuum cleaner is a whole lot more advanced than the first go round
Unrivalled cleaning power ; Seriously smart navigation ; It’s got frickin’ tank tracks
Expensive ; You’ve still got to clean around it
Dyson has done it again. The 360 Eye is the new king of robot vacs.

The Dyson 360 Eye promises to navigate your home effortlessly and clean effectively as it goes. It's a top of the range robot vacuum cleaner in terms of price, but how well does it navigate a real home and does it really clean better than other robot...

The Dyson 360 Eye is an accomplished vacuum cleaner. It dispels many of the issue that have plagued robot vacuums for many years now. Powerful enough to clean as well as larger handheld vacuums it ups the ante by being generally autonomous.
With impressive cleaning power, a simple to set up and use interface, and a promising mobile app, the Dyson 360 Eye redefines the robotic vacuum space and fulfills Dyson’s ideal of being a great vacuum first and a robotic device second.

A really good robot vacuum that could be great if Dyson makes some crucial adjustments.
Small, might get to some spots wider vacuums could miss ; Wheel design helps it handle tougher terrains ; It's smart and sees the whole room ; It’s a good vacuum
Needs more forward-leaning Wi-Fi support ; Battery life and cleaning cycles are too short ; App seems geared toward an international market
Dyson's late entry in the U.S. robotic vacuum market is an impressively intelligent cleaner, but could use a bit of tech polish.
