I have just got this model and have the one without DVD as well.Have had no issues with the none DVD but the other had problems with the remote during its set up.This maybe of interest if you have same.Try a battery change helped on mine the supplied...

Bought 2 tv's, excellent quality on picture and sound. Easy to set up and operate. My kids love them.
