HP Elite x2 1011 G1

HP's Elite range usually comprises business laptops, but the Elite x2 1011 G1 marks a change from that particular blueprint. This is a hybrid machine with a detachable screen and a huge slate of business features.

Class-leading battery life ; Detachable tablet section ; High-quality keyboard

Underpowered internals ; Misfiring touchpad ; Chunkier than most rivals ; Mediocre screen quality

Impressive usability that comes at a price

Comfortable and function-rich keyboard ; Responsive trackpad ; Clear screen

So-so hinge ; Short battery life ; Awkward stylus attachments

Though better for business than the Surface Pro, the HP Elite x2 1012 G1 also suffers from poor battery life.
