Razer Nommo Chroma Review

Razer has become a dominant force in nearly all things PC peripheral-related, but one of the few areas it hasn't thus far made a big splash is speakers. The Razer Nommo Chroma desktop speakers are aimed at righting that wrong thanks to a snazzy design, go

Elegant design \ Warm, powerful sound \ Decent bass response \ Easy to use controls

Lack detail \ Quite bulky

Combining style, decent sound quality and a useful feature set for a reasonable price, the Razer Nommo Chroma tick all the right boxes.

Razer Nommo Chroma review

Unconventional computer speakers you absolutely need for your dorm

Aesthetically interesting design ; Exceptional clarity

Limited frequency response ; No Bluetooth

Easily one of the most aesthetically interesting speakers on the market, the Razer Nommo Chroma are easy-to-setup and moderately good-sounding. They have some issues in sound quality - especially in the farther reaches of the audio spectrum - but...

Razer Nommo Chroma review: Cylindrical 2.0 PC speakers with RGB lighting

These cylindrical computer speakers provide customisable RGB lighting to illuminate your desk

Excellent integration of RGB lightning ; Overall design and build quality ; Simultaneously playback of USB & 3.5mm sources

Poor sub-bass extension ; Closed soundstage ; No Bluetooth connectivity

I don’t want to be gloomy about the Razer Nommo Chroma but at around £150 there are PC speakers that offer better sound than these and don’t suffer on either the features or design front either.

Razer Nommo Chroma Speakers Review

Razer launched its Nommo family of speakers back at CES 2018, with three devices in the range. At £9 It's a new 2.0 desktop speaker system from Razer – with RGB lighting. Worth £150?

Good looking.

Bass gets bloated once it is cranked up.

Razer Nommo Chroma

Razer employs a 3-inch full-range driver in each cylindrically shaped speaker. The back houses a bass port, allowing air moved by the drivers to flow more freely, for better bass depth. It's a little perplexing that the speakers are built onto mini stands

Solid audio performance, with bass level knob. Sleek design with prismatic LED lights. LEDs can be customized and work with various PC games and apps.

Sound quality doesn't live up to the price. No input selection button. Semi-hardwired cables.

Razer's Nommo Chroma speakers deliver solid audio in a cool design, but you're paying a premium for the LED light show they provide.

Razer Nommo Chroma Review: Big Sound, Slick Looks

The Razer Nommo Chroma is an impressive set of stereo speakers that offers big, crisp sound and cool RGB customization for a decent price. They're a bit on the bulky side, but if you have the room for them, you'll be treated to solid directional audio...

Impressive sound quality ; Loud for its size ; Customizable Chroma lighting

A bit bulky

The Razer Nommo Chroma is an impressive set of gaming speakers with rich, loud sound and customizable RGB lighting.
