All units up to this one have been good

 

When used in conjustion with SYBA SY-MR-35SOF 3.5" Serial ATA hard drive SATA II HDD-ROM mobile rack makes a great way to swap out ssd drives for the computer

Simple Dock

 

Had an SSD with my Operating System running in this bay for a couple of years, has worked well.

Works perfectly with 2.5" hard drives and SSDs. Clips in securely and has worked great for years, fits nicely in a floppy / media reader drive bay. The packaging was quite excellent

Some SSDs fit somewhat tightly and can make it difficult to remove the drive from the bay. Not much of a problem really, just need to pull a bit harder

Thinking about picking up 1 more and a sata 3 raid card

Very good price compared to when they first came out. Pulling in speeds of 550 MB/S with 2 in raid 0 on a sata 2 connection

No trim support in raid 0. not OCZs fault

Good product

 

A great product especially if your computer supports hot swapping and you have use for that function. Easy to install and seems sturdy. Good to convert 2.5 inch SSD to a 3.5 inch bay. I'm pleased so far but only have had it for a month.

Exactly what I wanted

 

I've purchased several of these for different PCs and never had an issue at all. Never had to use the screws it comes with either as the 2.5" drive snaps into place in the tray. I recommend this to anyone.

Inexpensive and does exactly what it says. Securely mounts a 2.5" drive in a 3.5" drive bay. Drive snaps into enclosure and enclosure mounts as a 3.5" drive would. SATAIII not a problem. Have only ever used it to mount OCZ SSD drives and fitment is...

Great price, great fit

 

Didn't have any problems with screw holes or fits as mentioned in other reviews. Seemed like a solid construction to me.

Works in hot swap bays for 2.5" hard drives / SSD. My SSD snapped right into the 2.5" bay, no problems. The 2.5" bay inserts into the 3.5" adapter and lines up perfectly with the onboard SATA connectors ; Great price, seems like a solid product

Could use more ventilation but for an SSD it should work just fine

File to fit?

 

Hard drives are supposed to be 4" wide. Check wikipedia. I measured a handful of drives using my Mitutoyo calipers and found them to be 3.984" - 4.002" This ill-fitting heap is 4.026" wide! I can get it into my hot swap bays, but it sticks. Getting it...

Overpriced

 

I don't think its worth the bucks.. its really easy to mount a 2.5 drive into. Not sure how it is for temperature, the HDD looked pretty well packed in, the screws on the side are not your standard screws but it does come with its own. Pretty neat...
