Update

Ibought this back in Febuary and it has been great up till now I had BIOS set to AHCI and installed 7pro 64 on it and loved the quickness but it all of a sudden just up and died, stopped responding and now not even their firmware updater will find it...

It DIED in less than a year

Smokin fast..

After windows, steam/CSS and a couple tiny programs I'm down to 22 gigs of free space... I'm gonna chew this up fast and will be wanting more space soon! Next time I'll shell out the cash for a 128 or something to the like...

22 second boot time, from pressing power to a usable desktop in Windows 7 64 pro

No cons so far

Quick and So far Reliable

I had a Patriot PS-100 and it failed in 6 months, piece of garbage, plus it didnt have a sandforce controller in it. This drive smokes it and seems more reliable so far.

Getting Cheaper ; Quick SandForce Controller ; Decent Boot Drive Size ; So far no issues

Two Nervous Thumbs Up

Obviously SSD is the way of the future. Yes, it's expensive from a cost per GB standpoint, but you have to include the performance. Until prices drop significantly, I don't know that I would suggest using an SSD as you main storage drive, but it...

FAST. This replaces a smaller OCZ Vertex II drive (30GB) that was running out of space as an OS drive. This drive is actually noticably faster than the OCZ and I thought IT was fast. My Windows 7 load time is about 10 seconds. Other programs open as...

I'm cautiously optimistic there won't be any. People have had hit-or-miss luck with these, as G.Skill has clearly had some Sandforce issues with these drives. I'm hoping that mine is new enough that it comes from the "fixed" generation of drives. So...

SSD is the way to go!

When prices are right will make an awesome Raid setup.

Fast, Quiet, and fast. Wow is all I can say when I installed the OS. Boots up just as fast

Only has 60 GB's of storage. Price still needs to come down

Stay away from this SSD

Very disappointed....won't buy acer again

It's fast, while it does last...... If it even ships to you in a normal state... chances are it wont though

If your reading the reviews then i'm sure you'll notice already that this drive has a HIGH rate of failure's. Sure you can RMA it at your expense. Just to get another broken one. Ultimately, this drive is not stable, go to the forums and you'll be sure...

It's so tiny...

It's very small, so small it has its own bracket to attach to before it can be mounted. But it fit all the same. The only downside I can find is capacity vs. price. It's a wicked fast drive and the tech is new enough that you have to pay a premium for...

Extremely Fast- Files open instantly, programs open twice as fast as a standard HDD

Great results

I ordered the 60GB size and it provides plenty of space for my primary Windows 7 files and programs. Any programs that don't automatically load on my C drive I put on my regular HDD. Someone said don't put your pagefile on the SSD, big mistake! You'll...

Quiet, Very Fast, Adequate storage space/size, Easy Install, Typically great Newegg service

Noone came to the house to install it for me

Junk - stay away, failed in 1 week

Love gskill memory, have not had a single issue to date with any gskill product until these drives. Looks like this company is going downhill fast just like everyone else ie asus, seagate, etc... I would gladly pay a premium price for something I knew...

nice ssd...while it lasts

bought two drives using in a raid 1 array. 1 drive failed within first week...apparently this is a common problem with this drive, guess I should have listened to all the warnings in these reviews
