With an always-on screen and new sports-tracking features, this is TAG Heuer's finest Connected smartwatch to date

Connecting Watch Valley, with Silicon Valley
Premium feel, style and brand ; Top-end internal specs ; Well-designed watch faces
Android Wear doesn't feel 'luxe' ; Relatively low-res screen and no pulse tracking… ; …Despite being so expensive

As a piece of pure tech design, it's great, but will it sell?
Rugged titanium IP67 case ; Well-designed watch faces ; Can be traded for 'real' watch
Sub-par screen ; Android Wear less than 'luxe' ; No heart-rate sensor

The Tag Heuer Connected was described as a marriage of Watch Valley and Silicon Valley at the launch, with the larger-then-life CEO of the Swiss watch company, Jean-Claude Biver, introducing this forward-looking device from a traditional watch company.
Quality of design, comfort, it's a desirable watch you'll actually want to wear, some thoughtful watch faces and additions
The cost will be too much for some to bear, display could be more impactful, the back should be titanium too
There will be those who see the Tag Heuer Connected as a waste of time, pardon the pun. It offers the same, or fewer, features as watches that cost a fifth of the price. If this is the main criterion to smartwatch ownership, then this certainly isn't...

So you want a smartwatch, but you don't want a tech brand name like LG or Samsung clashing with your fancy suit? Cast your eyes, then, over the TAG Heuer Connected.
The TAG Heuer Connected has striking, aggressive looks, it's made from luxury materials and the fashionable name of its maker will appeal to those of you looking for the finer things in life.
It's extremely expensive yet functionally offers nothing that you won't find on Android Wear watches that cost a fraction of the price.
The TAG Heuer Connected is the most fashionable way of adding smart functions to your wrist. But it'll cost you a hell of a lot for privilege.

A picture of an expensive watch, for the price of an expensive watch
Premium design ; Two-day battery life
Ridiculously expensive ; Disappointing screen ; No GPS
For all its considerable expense, the Tag Heuer Connected just doesn't cut it as a premium smartwatch

The first smartwatch from the luxury Swiss brand

Oozes quality – the TAG Heuer Connected is the smartwatch watch lovers everywhere have been waiting for
The TAG Heuer Connected is a very different kind of smartwatch. It runs Google’s Android Wear OS, but that’s not its main selling point. Instead, the Connected has been designed primarily as a luxury watch, and on that count it succeeds admirably.

Tag Heuer's Connected is an expensive, incredibly well-built Android Wear smartwatch that runs smoothly and offers long battery life. It's too bad, then, that $1,500 doesn't net you a watch with a truly great screen, or the niceties we've come to...
Excellent build quality ; Lightweight and comfortable ; Smooth performance ; Long battery life
It's $1,500. Seriously. ; Design will be too bulky for some ; Middling screen quality ; No GPS or heart rate monitor
If you're looking for a good Android Wear watch, you don't need to spend $1,500. It's completely unnecessary. That's not to say the Connected is a bad device -- far from it. Its build quality is fantastic, and it's comfortable in addition to being...

It's the sharpest looking Android smartwatch for sure, but can it possibly be worth that huge price tag?
