Portable projectors are a solution without a problem, and the Uniden ULP 1000 is an expensive solution at that. It projects a sharp, colourful image but lacks a range of much-needed connectivity options.
Image always in focus ; iPhone/iPod connectivity
Expensive ; Low max. image resolution ; Short battery life
For us, the portable projector, as an entire category of tech, feels like a solution without a problem. Given that a projector of this size isn't capable of displaying an image to a room full of people, wouldn't you be better off with an iPad you can...

Don't believe reviews that say it's the best micro projector. Because who do you know that has them all? No one. Reviews like that are written by the company that make them.
Nothing
Dull flat pixelated picture

I use this in a classroom of students with netbooks, often to show students how to use a computer through watching projection of my pages, so sound not a consideration. I used to waste much time (and had to work to stop students getting restless)...

This is outstanding for mobile 360 degree games. The guys at Fridge And Power said 2.5 metres is the best sceen size in a dark room but it's better at a tad under 2 metres. Worth the purchase!
Great for gaming with an iPhone
A little expensive
Consumer review (cnet.com.au)
This is a great projector, totally worth the cost. You can display it to a room full of people (think 100 inches or more) but it needs to be totally dark or the color washes out.
Always in focus, contrast, clear picture
Not bright enough, expensive
