X2Gen MG19VT

 

You may be drawn in by the X2Gen MG19VT's unassuming price. Be wary, though, since this 19-inch LCD is fine for viewing mundane documents but chokes when displaying movies and games.

Affordable. Good text readability.

Poor grayscale and color performance. Slow response time. Only analog video input. One-year warranty.

Scam for mail in rebate on X2Gen

 

Quality is good. Company is of poor reputation. Just visit their website and you will have an idea

No Support ; Big Rebate Scam. You will never get your mail in rebate. They won't reply to your email. Their Rebate handling company will not have your record. They won't reply to your query. Company's voice mailbox is always full. I can keep going

My monitor arrived with 4 dead pixels. After calling the company and being a little pushy it was taken back and a new one was sent with no problems. New monitor works like a charm. Also be sure to send in any rebates immediately as deadlines may be an...

Good looking monitor. Simple design but, effective none the less. CHEAP PRICE

Quality is not up to par with some of the better names in monitors. But persistance pervailes with the X2gen company

Stuck With Resolution

 

This monitor works well for an excellent price and when you run it on the recommended resolution its beautiful, downright beautiful. I haven't tried out the speakers but I have a feeling they're crummy. No dead pixels

If you don't run the recommended resolution everything is pixelated and hard to read. That isn't a problem if you don't mind your monitor on 1280x1024, its just hard for me to read the font this small

Nice

 

It works like a charm.

Alright, I just got this thing yesterday. It was a day before the three day shipping, when I got it. It's an awesome Monitor, with only one dead pixel, but the pixel is in the lower right hand corner, so not really noticable to me

One dead pixel, although I must say, that's actually decent for an LCD

I hope it keeps up the awesome performance. If not, it wasn't a huge loss at this awesome price.

I just got this in the mail a few hours ago (right on time, with 3 day shipping). I was a little worried about stuck pixels and such but everything is working perfectly ; I upgraded from a CRT monitor and I am loving the mobilty of this one opposed to...

Large Flat Panel Value

 

Great entry level flat panel; large screen, great specifications. Can't really tell it apart from the "smaller" more expensive monitors I use at work

Don't expect 0 dead/stuck pixels at this price. I have 1 dead, 2 stuck green and 1 red. I have paid just a little more for higher quality displays

Not Bad

 

No problems so far. Have gotten 2 so far from Newegg - no problems yet. No dead pixels upon arriving :D

Fast response, easy to read text. Decent design

Weak speakers (as noted) but who uses built in speakers on LCD monitors

Good Monitor

 

Aside from the speakers, this is a pretty unremarkable unit. Works fine for me for last 6 months and thats all that matters!

Thanks to Newegg's Awesome shipping I got this item in record 2 days! Came with no problems at all, no dead pixel, ghosting etc

Speakers are a tad bit weak, but who uses monitor speakers anyways? U can't expect perfect speakers for a low cost unit

Excellent Monitor for the Price

 

I was definitely skeptical since the reviews were all over the place. However, the price was tempting and I received my first unit very quickly. The monitor definitely looks good enough. Image color was vibrant and the text was sharp. Response time...
