Mag Innovision GML2427 review: Mag Innovision GML2427

Mag Innovision GML2427

The Mag GML2427 has a low price and includes a HDMI connection.

The Mag GML2427 has a dim screen, produces drab color, and includes only a VGA cable.

The Mag GML2427 is a budget monitor; however, its low price doesn't make up for its low performance.

forget analog at 1080-missing screw

Separate power supply, that is probably how they got it so thin. use as a single monitor using HDMI may be ok, if your mounting screw is not missing. I have not tested the HDMI input.

cheap. very thin. Works as well as something with inherent design defects can be expected to

1. poor viewing angle. Don't have too close to you ; 2. Missing screw because newegg shipped in original carton which is unsealed so 5 cent screw that is required for monitor to stand on its own was MISSING. After digging around in my nuts and bolts...

nice

Bought this monitor before there were really any reviews but I'm impressed. Also, it was on sale at the time for significantly less than the current price as a daily deal. As always newegg rocks with the fast shipping and sweet deals. to the reviewer...

Bright, high contrast, non-gloss, no dead pixels. Ok stand design. Usable menu system (but could be better) still has real buttons instead of touch sensitive areas (I'm looking at you samsung). Cheap for its size for LED backlight when I bought it....

Factory color calibration is just plain wrong, took some tweaking to get the colors looking decent. Stand is only OK, get a mount if you want any real adjustability

Amazing Monitor! Some design issues though... nothing you can't fix easily.

*The buttons on the monitor not having an exit button for the OSD is somewhat annoying, but again, not enough to knock an egg off for. * people have also talked about not being able to get any clarity whatsoever out of the VGA input... i have HDMI from...

Great contrast- looks way better than 1000:1 ; No dead pixels- dont know what people are talking about... I've never seen a monitor with dead pixels before ; Full 1080p HDMI input ; amazingly thin.... when you walk into my room, you cant even tell it's...

Does take a while to switch to my PS3 through HDMI though.... though when I have it hooked up to my computer through HDMI it goes instantly. Not that big of a deal though, and it definately not annoying enough to knock off an egg... thats the only...

Ok monitor, but needs tweaking

23-24" is the perfect size for everything. Even if sitting across the room watching a movie. After some tweaking, I think 100 brightness, 50 contrast, Theatre mode, looked the best.

Pros at first was definitely the price, the thin profile, and also the LED backlit design. The thin profile might not mean much to some, but if you go to LAN's often with a PC or console, it helps to have something really lightweight and at the same...

Its picky with some PS3 games not fully playing in 720p (will have to test it out more and review again). It has some really long auto detect times and it would just have a black screen for a while. There is some ghosting in third person games, but...

Disappointing

Not keen on paying freight to return/replace, but I need to wall mount this unit and current combo won't do the job (Rosewill Mount and MAG 2427).

Reasonable Price, attractive. Great shipping from Newegg. 3yr warranty

Very disapponting display, next to impossible to reach any degree of clarity (analog). Received this with the recommended wall mount (Rosewill RMS-MA3210 Silver 17" - 32" Tilt/Swivel Wall Mount). The wall mount does not work on this display. If you...

great sale

Since now I have a 1080p monitor now I will have to invest in a blue ray drive in the near future. since it has hdmi great screen for a cable, satillite or gaming monitor.

This monitor gave great picture really well priced led was going with asus but it sits too low, you do need to adjust your picture setting in menu i first put it to warm then i manuelly ajusted brightness to 75 left contrast at 50 and set color red...

When I received my monitor it came in the orginal box. I've red some reviews and was fearful of dead pixel and how you can only exchange with atleast 8 or more so after assembly I found one wierd red pixel in top right was abit annoying lucky I fixed...

Poor choice

If your looking for a good all around monitor find another.

cheap

Everything. Poor text quality. Serious ghosting. Recommended resolution puts all of my desktop icons off the screen. Couldn't resize at the recommended resolution. Driver on MAGs website not for Windows 7. Website gives no info for the driver
