Iiyama ProLite XB2472HD review

It's been a long time since Iiyama ruled the roost in the monitors market, but its latest launch sees better quality VA (vertical alignment) panels being rolled out across its new budget range that includes the Iiyama ProLite XB2472H.

As a Monitor this is first class but the built in speakers are not as good

The volume available from the built in speakers is poor. Just about good enough for system sounds but forget listening to music or videos.

Iiyama ProLite E2483HS

Very clear text for reading & browsing. Accurate colour rendition for reviewing photo's and video. Overall excellent picture performance. High quality audio from headphone socket when connected via HDMI.

Factory setup very bright but soon adjusted. Speakers would be better than nothing - ok for speach but not good for music. Some menu settings ie Sharpeness have no useful settings other than default.

Iiyama ProLite B2783QSU

For the money it's a brilliant monitor. There are a few negative reviews out there for this screen. But they are comparing it against screens a few hundred pounds more. Compare it against screens in the same price bracket and it will come out on top.
