The Moto G4 has a new low-cost rival
Great value ; Solid performance ; Strong screen for price
Part-metal frame isn't impressive ; Scatty camera focusing ; Poor low-light photos
The Honor 5C is a great budget phone to make the choice for buyers at this end of the market that much trickier. With a good set of cameras, a strong screen and no annoying performance issues, this a bargain.

While big budget phones get launched on an international stage, following a long campaign of leaks and teases, it's at the budget end of the spectrum where things are fiercely competitive. For the low asking price of £149, you really do get quite a lot...

Honor 5C review: Honor is gunning hard for best affordable smartphone of 2016 with the new Honor 5C, but does it make the grade?
Great camera experience ; Premium design touches ; Good performance ; Solid battery life
Lacklustre video performance ; Screen is a little washed out ; Fingerprint prone screen ; Middling design
The Honor 5C presents itself as an unassuming, middling Android handset, but you’ll quickly realise that it’s full of surprises. Great performance, battery life and cameras elevated the 5C above our expectations and at.

Not a name I had heard of until shortly after the launch of the Huawei P9 when I found out this was a sister company, so when I received an invite to a breakfast briefing I accepted, I am not keen on rush hour travel at my age and when the venue is...
The operating system is Android 6 the latest version and overlaid by EMUI 4.1. The with free delivery as per the link below. For some reason the silver and grey colours are £32 more expensive.

It was a rainy day in London as I made my way to find out more about the latest Honor handset.
The Honor 5C’s performance is more than adequate especially when compared against similarly priced handsets. Loading apps and scrolling through images and websites was fine although I would have preferred more of a reluctance of the screen to gather...

Ticks all the boxes at this price point. Fantastic what you are getting for the money.

The Honor 5C is a cheap phone which makes very few compromises, making for a great all-rounder if you're on a budget. However, there's no real standout feature".
+ Stylish design ; + Smooth performance ; + Strong screen
- Emotion UI ; - No standout features ; - Fingerprint scanner is MIA
The Honor 5C is a remarkable handset. Usually there are at least some compromises made when keeping a phone’s cost down but here there aren’t really. Sure it doesn’t have flagship specs and nor is it quite as premium as a high-end phone, but that was...
