HTC Ozone

The beauty of having your roots founded in being an OEM manufacturer is that you can easily make the same handset three times with slight variations and not feel guilty about it. That's the case for the Verizon Ozone from HTC that on the inside is the...

Solid, Wi-Fi

Keyboard fiddly, 2-megapixel camera, Windows Mobile 6.1

At $49.99 this is entry-level stuff and it shows with the handset coming through as a good emailer if you are a Windows fan over BlackBerry and Nokia's S60 interfaces. That said this really isn't that exciting and the thought of being lumbered with...

T-Mobile Dash 3G review

The T-Mobile Dash 3G works very well as a messaging and e-mail device, but it doesn't have the chops to compete with other messaging powerhouses, such as the BlackBerry Curve 8900 or the Sidekick LX, both on T-Mobile as well. The interface is in dire...

Overall the HTC Snap is an awesome handset. If you are heavily into texting/emailing the Snap will please you as in my opinion it has the nicest front facing qwerty keyboard on the market.

HTC Ozone (Verizon Wireless)

The HTC Ozone offers worldwide roaming, along with fast performance, solid battery life, and a classy look for a mere $49 with contract.

True world phone at a bargain price. Includes 3G and Wi-Fi radios. Classier look and better keyboard than the Sprint version. Excellent battery life. Snappy performance.

Creaky OS. No standard-size headphone jack. Weak software bundle.

HTC Ozone (Verizon Wireless) review: HTC Ozone (Verizon Wireless)

The HTC Ozone offers an e-mail and messaging-centric feature set that includes EV-Do Rev. A, Wi-Fi, GPS and support for overseas GSM networks. Call quality is quite respectable.

The HTC Ozone's controls and keypad don't have the best design. Also, it lacks HTC's Inner Circle feature, the volume level is low and GSM data support tops out at EDGE.

Though its plastic design and photo quality are unchanged, the HTC Ozone offers a more affordable price tag, improved features, and better voice quality than its Sprint HTC Snap counterpart.

HTC Ozone

The HTC Ozone with its slim form factor and green keys is a departure from some of the more bulkier form factor smartphones that many think of when they think about a Windows Mobile phone. The smartphone sports a Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, 3G connectivity,...

HTC Ozone XV6175 Review

Who says that smartphones have to be bulky devices that cost a few hundred dollars? Definitely not HTC with the introduction of their new Ozone XV6175 for Verizon Wireless, which is a cousin to the HTC Snap (available with Sprint) and Dash 3G (with...
