The HTC One M9 was met with a muted response. HTC's efforts in refining design felt like a distraction and the new flagship felt like it was slightly adrift, facing completion from all sides. The HTC One M9+ is an improvement on the regular One M9 in a...
Great quality build, decent display, mature user interface with Sense 7 benefits, fingerprint scanner
Weak camera, average battery life, lacks fast charging, MediaTek graphics handling
The HTC One M9+ is an improvement on the regular One M9 in a number of areas. It runs cooler with barely any difference in the daily experience when it comes to performance. The battery life is similar or better, despite the boosted display, but the...

The phone the One M9 should have been?
Fingerprint sensor works flawlessly ; Bigger, prettier 2K screen ; Lost none of the M9's design chops
Cameras still not on par with rivals ; Sluggish with multi-tasking and processor hungry games
A levelling-up over the "standard" M9, the M9+ is the HTC to get - but the Galaxy S6 still trumps it

HTC's new One M9+ packs an ultra high definition 5.2-inch display and a fingerprint scanner on the front. It also sees the return of the depth-sensing duo camera.

The HTC One M9 is still warm from the production line but already HTC has a new variant to tempt you with. Called the One M9+, this phone maintains the beautiful all-metal design of the standard M9, but makes a few key tweaks.
We'll see exactly how this new variant stacks up against its rivals -- not to mention the standard One M9 -- in the full review soon.

Stuck in a downward spiral for what seems like an eternity, troubled Android phone maker HTC has been actively diversifying its portfolio this year. Sure, there was the mandatory One M9 flagship, as well as a bunch of Desire mid-rangers, but we've also...
Nice, metal design ; Decent stereo speakers ; Sense UI is coherent
Inaccurate screen color balance ; User experience needs more work ; Average camera quality ; Troublesome call quality
It's hard to understand what HTC has in mind with the One M9+. Perhaps the key is in the name of the device? The 'plus' should mean it's a better/bigger version of the M9, right? However, that is not entirely true.
