Libratone Track Air+ true wireless earbuds review

The Libratone Track Air+ are the latest to join the noise-canceling earbuds brigade.

Excellent design Very comfortable Good noise cancelation

Sometimes sound harsh Better-sounding rivals are available for less

These earbuds look great, and they feel even better, with a fit so comfortable you’ll forget you’re wearing them. With noise cancelation tech built-in, the Libratone Track Air+ are a very accomplished pair of true wireless earbuds. However, a harsh...

Libratone Track Air+ review

Light, bright and the noise-cancelling is better than alright

Good transparency and detail ; Impressive noise-cancelling ; Comfortable fit

Slightly harsh upper midrange ; App is long-winded ; No volume control

Noise-cancelling is impressive and their sound is detailed and clear, but these Libatone buds are hindered by an overstated midrange.

Hands on: Libratone Track Air+ true wireless earbuds review

As a category, true wireless earbuds have only really been a ‘thing’ for a couple of years now, but already it has become a crowded market with a host of brands fighting for the space either side of your head. Standing out is hard to do,...

Noise-canceling tech Lightweight Wireless charging support

Noise cancelation dependent on fit Touch buttons still fiddly

Lightweight, great looking and with a strong feature set, the Libratone Track Air+ are, ahem, on track to bother the big names in the true wireless earbud market.

Libratone Track Air+ review: Wireless ANC in-ears at a great price

One of first to market with true wireless in-ears with active noise-cancellation technology, the Air+ deliver ace sound at an exceptional price.

Great sound quality ; Airpods price point ; Excellent active noise-cancelling (ANC) technology ; Sound presets in the app ; Neat charging case with three additional charges ; Sweat/splash-proof for active use - but great as commuting in-ears too

Battery drains faster in one earbud than other ; Busy Bluetooth areas can cause connectivity slip-ups ; Not the very cleanest sound ever - over-ears sound more dynamic ; Touch controls give resonant feedback

Given the Airpods-matching price, these in-ears offer heaps more features: far better sound quality and active noise-cancelling that's highly effective. Whether you want sweat-resistant true wireless buds or some for commuting, Libratone has the best...

Libratone Track Air+ review: The definition of true wireless earbuds

Libratone's new product, the Track Air+, encapsulate everything you'd ever want from a set of true wireless earbuds

Excellent sound quality throughout the frequency range ; Lightweight and portable design ; The case can be wirelessly charged

Finicky touch controls ; ANC performance doesn’t rival the Sony WF-1000XM3

All the same, Libratone’s first crack at true wireless earbuds is extremely impressive. In fact, it all leads me to think that these are the wireless earbuds to beat, especially with active noise-cancelling technology – a feature that most of its...

Libratone Air+ review: Stylish AirPods Pro alternative

Libratone Air+ wireless earbuds sound terrific and look unique, and are marred only by poor outgoing call quality.

Great sound quality Very good noise cancellation Wear sensors, Bluetooth multipoint Unique customization options Attractive look and design Wireless charging

Poor call quality No AAC support Device switching is unreliable No manual EQ options

“Libratone Air+ wireless earbuds sound terrific and look unique, and are marred only by poor outgoing call quality.”

Libratone Air+ (2nd Gen)

You'll find better true wireless noise-cancelling earbuds for the price of the Libratone Air+ (2nd Gen).

Very good noise-cancelling and transparency modes ; Secure fit with assistance from Libratone’s app ; Rated IP54 for protection from dust and water

Limited codec support ; Odd design choice related to touch-sensitive surfaces ; Pricey for what’s delivered

We dig these earbuds for their noise cancellation, fit, and protection from the elements, but the price puts them head to head with the best-in-class Sony WF-1000XM4.
