HD Traffic, large screen, Live services, Easy to use, ETA pretty spot on

Resistive screen won't be as good as your phone, Not all directions are perfect, HD Traffic will cost after 1st year

What the Go Live 825 gives you though is a very good, very easy to use GPS that will get you to the ball on time, every time.

Sat navs may be one of the most beneficial gadgets ever invented, but navigating your way through all the available options can be a nightmare.

Comprehensive maps ; Live traffic updates and intelligent routing ; Simple, easy-to-use interface ; POI much improved ; Hassle-free navigation, even on complex junctions

Live services cost extra after first year ; Plenty of cheaper or free alternatives ; Touchscreen could be more responsive

The TomTom Go Live 825 Europe proves that the world's best sat nav is now even better. The new operating system, improved UI and enhanced navigation options are worth the money alone. Optional Live services such as Traffic HD and Safety Camera updates...

Appalling software - avoid.

I've had this for just short of a year. It became useless around March/April because it couldn't resolve a valid GPS connection - so this is a SatNav that can't work out where it is. (Google "TomTom Waiting for a valid GPS Signal" or "TomTom Leap Year...

the product says FREE lifetime trafic and map updates but the tomtom website will not accept the promational code that came with the gps site says try back later ..its been a month and im still trying

The product woked very well for a few months, then the live services stopped and gave an error about the Sim. This is where TomTom falls down. Customer support repeatedly sent out a set of standard instruction to reset the device to factory state. Then...

Live traffic simply doesn't work

As a standalone GPS device it works OK, without being spectacular. But the live services simply don't work. I bought the device three weeks ago and the live service has been fully operational on only three days (and one of those was a quiet Sunday)....
