not too bad

if you are going to need more than 4 four pin plugs then be sure to buy the necessary hardware when you order the case. stopping in the middle of the build to make parts is a hassle and that is supposing you are a freak like me and have boxes of parts...

2 ide ports and 2 sata ports makes this a great upgrade board as you can hook your old hard drive into it, the case has 1 80mm fan and places for either 2 80mm or 1 80mm and a scoop for the cpu cooler, very good price

the power supply, i can deal with 300w, just lay off the cards, but only four 4 pin connectors is a pain. i had to dig throuhg parts and solder up an extension/adapter in order to have enough 4 pins to run my other 2 case fans

Only my second AMD build. Everything went together easily. This little system is pretty fast. Would recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable PC to put together. Doubt that it would be much use for gamers though.

Easy to assemble. Plenty of room inside case. Quality MSI motherboard.

Encountered only 1 problem with the onboard audio in building this system using XP Pro with SP3. There were no available drivers (that I could find). Easy solution was to add a sound card.

You get what you pay for

Freezing issue varies but it seems to be a hardware defect that affects a few people but it won't freeze running Ubuntu from personal experience. Better vga linux drivers are in the works, otherwise I would spend a little more money on a barebones system.

Cheap, Athlon x2 64, PCI Express x16, good audio

300w power supply, front headphone and microphone jacks will not work at all, randomly freezes in Windows (XP and Vista), MSI autoupdate doesn't work well with x64 Windows, integrated graphics (K8M90) have no 3d running Ubuntu (can't run Wine, 3d games...

Rather disapppointing

If you buy this, remember, barebones means you get nothing....not even a floppy drive. Also, get a better power supply. 300W is barely enough to run this system with minimal drives.

Easy to put work inside this case. Newegg did a fantastic job getting my order to me in three days

300 Watt P/S (upgrade!) USB on this MB works....but only one port at a time. As soon as you add a second device, Windows starts shutting down ; or it freezes at post when booting up. No error, no unusual beeps: it just stops....until you unplug the USB...

Not gonna work

other than that its a good computer. If you do decide to purchase this get a video card and sound card. You will be better off.

It came partcialyworking

Well lets start with the drivers cd. I put the drivers cd in and it says its not a valid windows 32 application. so i had to go to MSI website and download the drivers there. I don't like the on board video but i managed that. The second thing, is my...

CAUTION! Do not use with SATA 3.0Gb/s drives!

I sure hope NewEgg will do the right thing and let me exchange the hard drive I bought with this (I got the barebone, a CPU, a heat sink and fan, and RAM, to make a complete system to tide me over until I can buy the 8-machine network for my new home...

Great price, decent features

Despite NewEgg's information on their tour of the product page claiming ""Serial ATA 3Gb/s Connections"" (note the plural), this board is NOT compatible with SATA 3Gb/s drives. It only has two SATA connctions, so the above quote would lead you to...

Buy this now!

I have not tried the front ports so I do not know if they work or not. Everything else runs perfect.

Everything. Built in fan, sleek black case, low price ; I mean it works perfectly. What more could you want

Albeit a bit outdated, it still would have been nice to have an AGP port. Also, the power supply is low, so you may have to replace it

Careful

I really like these cases. Even with the problems I had I ran these through the paces to see how they worked. I loaded Windows XP 64 bit, 1 GB of RAM on a AMD 3400, used the IDE and SATA connections for hard drives, even installed a NVidia 8600 and...

You can not beat the features included in this system for the price. Wide selection of Athlon Processors, 8 channel onboard sound, video, and LAN all come with this sytem. Also the front panel, power and fans are all connected to the motherboard ready...

So far I have purchased 2 of these for business customers who where looking for low end low cost workstation. The first one the second dimm slot would not accept any RAM. Every time I installed any RAM the computer would give me a beep code for...
