Technivorm Moccamaster KBGC 741 AO review

Editor's note, September 30, 2014: This review shares many sections with the Technivorm Moccamaster KBT 741 .

The Technivorm Moccamaster KBG 741 AO reliably brews delicious 10-cup batches of coffee. It is also easy to clean, flaunts an elegant and colorful design, plus has a hotplate that won't scorch your brew.

The Moccamaster KBG 741 is more expensive than other Technivorm machines, yet can't match the brew quality of them. Instead of a steel thermal carafe the KBG 741 AO uses a pot made from thin glass which is harder to pour.

Unless a wildly-colored drip machine really floats your boat or have a hotplate fetish, less expensive coffee makers are a better choice than the Moccamaster KBG 741 AO.
