It enables some degree of additional magnification, but cannot be used over the whole zoom range of the camera. When the zoom is reduced from maximum the image becomes circular, occupying only part of the camera's LCD screen.

the product works just give it a good twist on the lens and it snaps in place. not a perfect seal with barrel and hood, hoping that doesn't allow in stray sunlight from reflecting on lens
