This lens is perfect if you're only going to carry one with you. From fairly wide angle to medium zoom, it'll cover your bases. Image quality is better than I expected. It's nice and compact, but it is a little heavy. For the price, it can't be beat.

I have the 46MM and 52MM ones for my wide angle sonys. have to cut the right and left sides a little so the wide angle would not show up. They work great and are simple to install and remove.

This hard edge filter produces some lovely images right out the camera, and has produced some very dramatic skies in my images. The only slight downside is the magenta cast it generates, but for the price I'm not complaining as it takes me two seconds...

This was my next move up from the 18-55 kit lens and although not as wide, the lens gives more depth to the pictures, and is very good on the AF. Very good build and results compared to the Canon equivalent and a lot cheaper
