Nice lens for those who don\'t need the reach of a long telephoto for a walk-around lens. Has its limitations of course but I use it for portraits as well as landscape. Would replace it with the better pro lens when I can afford it!

This product does what it says and well enough. The only downside I have found is you must hold it all the time. On long exposure if you let go it dangles in mid air and can pull out of the plug.

Mine recently broke. BUT THATS WHY WE BUY THEM. It was attached to a rather expensive piece of glass and during an outdoor shoot, a rock kicked up and smacked the filter. my brave UV filter saved my lens. I shall forever be thankful.

The Sigma performed well in our tests, with good results for sharpness wide open, and even better when stopped down to just ƒ/4. CA is a bit high at 18mm and distortion is a complicated mix of barrel and pincushion, but nothing overly objectionable.
