fast focus, the 2.8 aperture is excellent for low light photography, especially combined with the image stabeliser. For my first shoot with this lens I took picture of a band under stage lighting and got great shots.

Great lens. Use it on the Canon C100. Lovely images. Can't tell the difference between this and Canon L series lenses - apart from the fact that it doesn't do the autofocus thing that they do. But not so crucial for video anyway. Arrived very quickly too.

This is a perfect starter lens for my Pentax K-3. It isn't the sharpest lens ever made but it is easily the best kit lens I have owned. It's sharp enough in the middle and it's collapsable body allows for easy storage and transportation.
