Luckily I bought the 1 year service net plan with it so when the 1 year mark hits, I should be good to get a replacement.

Very good deck so far. Be prepared to read the entire owners manual since this is pretty complicated to operate/understand. It does require video to be recorded to the hard drive first, and then you can burn a DVD or Blu-Ray (I was not aware of that)....

Even though its picture is subpar and the battery doesn't last long, the Insignia NS-PDVD8 should be good enough for someone looking for the most basic affordable portable DVD player.

It is awesome Couldn't of had more fun after watching it with my girlfriend and her mates, specially after downloading that ringtone lol
This item is the worst product I've purchased!! I have not had it 6 months, and it completely stopped reading any disc!! It stopped reading regular DVD's after 4 months!! And today it stopped reading any DVDs!! This is the second unit that I've...

while i echo the 5 star review. the only reason i have rated it lower is the chronological aspect. they have continued the story well, by picking up from the original as it finished. but the bit i found a little lazy was that they seemed to make a few...

won't read any disk and Freezes when you try to push any button on the remote or device. Also, the remote hardly ever worked, the IR sensors are weak. Bad buy, should have listened to the reviews...

The Toshiba BDX2700 is a reasonably good Blu-ray player that sells for a reasonably good price; its disappointing DVD upconversion is its only serious drawback.

It's great for watching DVDs etc but the main function for logging into the internet does not work over wifi or Ethernet. Panasonic support are not very helpful either. This particular Blu Ray player is one of the expensive ones. There are other...

Not worth the money. I bought it from Amazon and had it installed by a reputable local merchant in April 2014, and 18 months later it quit working and I was told it would cost $270.00 to repair it.

Amazon needs to give more informtion on this unit, like does the power supply inputs from a 120Vac source, or does the unit use 220-240Vac. Is there a step-down component built in the unit?
I need spec sheet on this unit. Don't have information to rate the unit higher, like with other units, does unit's power supply Input @ 120Vac?
The VHS/DVD converter is going back so I won't be needing these.
Short of finding a stock of V1 drives somewhere, people need to know there is NO Lightscribe support on the current versions of this drive.

love it , does everything sony and all those name brand player do. what 's better than shopping best buy at home.
Anything BUT user-friendly. Called support to find out how to add an extra 10 minutes to the end of recording time, they didn't know! This is what you do… 1. Choose program and click record. 2. Exit and click 'Menu' 3. Navigate to 'Channel Manager' 4....
Not surprising for a Vizio product, the VBR333 is currently one of the best deals in town for a Blu-ray player that offers both 3D playback and integrated WiFi. It doesn't include some of the features you get in the higher-end 3D players, such as dual...

I’m not saying the movie lacks action. I’m saying it lacks the spark I‘ve come to expect from Nevadine and Taylor. Their traditional shaky cam style was present in almost every fight sequence but most of them got over in the blink of an eye. The...

needed an new Blu ray as my 2 year old LG 560 crapped out
The vast majority of the discs I received appear to have small air pockets between the polycarbonate layer and the optical writing surface. Many of these pockets are not noticeable until after burning data to the disc. The discs are readable and all...
Anatomy from 2000 with the exciting Franka Potente as a medical student who uncovers a subversive element in a German school is a nice take on the basic question of where all those human specimens from "BODIES . . . The Exhibition" touring the country ...
My network connection issues notwithstanding, I was impressed by the BDP-52FD’s speed, Blu-ray video performance, and aesthetics. The connection problems and quirky operation were likey related to the newness of Pioneer’s Blu-ray platform, and it’s...

This is the second year in a row we’ve had firmware trouble with one of LG’s players. Last year’s BD590 finally received a firmware update about 30 days into my evaluation that addressed our issues and earned it a place in our Top Picks. I liked the...
My review sample of the Harman Kardon BDS 5 Blu-ray receiver arrived shortly after the death of Dr. Sidney Harman. Let's take a moment to celebrate the life of one of the audio industry's founding fathers. Harman and partner Bernard Kardon pioneered...
