So disappointing

Have yet to make a decent loaf, you shouldn't have to chase the dry flour around the tin with a spatula, it should all just work, that's why we buy bread makers! Dry, stale loaves, even after countless different recipes….. the recipe book it came with...

not much actually

doesn't work!!

Great breadmaker

I've had this breadmaker for about 7 years and it has just stopped working due to an earth defect. It was a reliable machine and produced great loafs and dough mixtures. I used it a couple of times a week. I have tried a few other brands as I have been...

Reliable and produces good bread.

I've tried everything!!!

I bought the George Forman breadmaker after my old second-hand breadmaker finally died. I also thought to buy something that promised easy-to-use recipes, and all sorts of other features. I have never been able to produce anything edible out of it yet....

I did like the shape of the bread pan, alot easier to remove the cooked item, only trouble was, nothing ever turned out.

Everything else, but the shape of the bread pan

G F B M 1000

I have read some complaints about the George Foreman bread maker. I too had problems . The first 6 loaves came out like bricks. After I changed to a better yeast everything went O.K. The only problem is that I am the only person in the family who eats...

It was easy to use. reliable.

A not so automatic breadmaker

After reading other reviews on here, I am relieved to find out that it is the breadmaker that is dodgy, not the user. This is the first breadmaker I have owned and I purchased it, because it promised to be so versatile. The reality however is entirely...

The promise of being a versatile machine

The fact that it doesn't actually work properly

Terrible

I have used a breadmaker for years and bought this model when my original Breville died because of the multi-sized loaves it would make. This breadmaker has been a huge dissapointment and despite trying many recipes and mixes we have not had a decent...

Can make three different size loaves.

It was expensive. Does not mix the flour and water together properly unless you chase the dough around the pan with a scraper. Does not mix your nuts, fruit, etc in properly unless you chase the dough around the pan wih a scraper. The loaves always...

Terrible

TRULY A WASTE OF MONEY WHAT A JOKE SO DISAPPOINTED WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND BIGGEST DISASTER I HAVE EVER EVER PURCHASED

I too found it did not mix the flour. All the loaves i have attempted have been failures. The unit was very expensive, with the failures i have had i could have purchased another more reliable machine. SO DISAPPOINTED, give me a Breville any day....

Bad

Its a good machine, great for making jam & bread. The only thing is its a bit annoying because unless I mix the flour in with a spoon while its going, it ends up not mixing the flour in that are in the corners and I end up with one end covered in baked...

makes bread, jam, bagels, cakes bread taste good loaf is normal shaped - not an upright loaf

expensive doesn't mix the flour into the water very well

Bad

I bought this machine to replace an old Breville, thinking George Foreman products were good! It's a rather 'gimmicky' machine - it comes with several obscure programs and a bagel rack I'd never use. Unlike the Breville, it doesn't allow you to adjust...

Easy to use

Programs aren't adjustable. Electronics failed within 10 months
