I have the same problem as many of the other reviewers, I am now on to my third set of knobs for the temp control. I call complain and they send me another. At least they just chrged me shipping. Hope the nex one they send me is better made.

I've had the problem of the lever not staying down once. I hope it doesn't return. Otherwise I love all the features on my four slice model: lift & look, crumpet, and digital display. The beep is great; it means I can get the butter on ASAP so it melts.
