Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet review

Apparently, the whole world's gone crazy for tablets (or, at least one of them ). A tablet makes the perfect ultraportable companion for browsing the Web, checking e-mail, and watching movies on the go. But if tablets represent the future of portable...

The Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet (upgradeable to Android 4.0) has several business-oriented features that should bring a smile to the IT crowd, along with digital pen support and a beautiful screen.

The tablet is relatively thick and heavy, with unnecessary navigation buttons and uninspired Android interface optimizations.

If your IT department could design a tablet, the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet would be it.

Lenovo ThinkPad Review

Lenovo recently hopped on the tablet bandwagon with the IdeaPad and ThinkPad tablets. Like in the case of their laptops, the IdeaPad is targeted at the general audience, while the ThinkPad is skewed more towards office productivity.

Discrete input devices are much more convenient than the touchscreen, especially when a lot of typing is involved (for example e-mail, chatting and word processing). At Rs.44,871 the Lenovo ThinkPad is a little more expensive than the Asus EeePad...

Good for people who need a tablet for work.

Okay tablet but I wish that Microsoft would come out with one. People who use PC's at work and office would really appreciate it.

The Citrix receiver is built in. Corporate email works well. Easy to set up and use. Touch screen works well for looking at email and playing games. Extra Storage. Good battery life.

Touchscreen doesn't work for some websites. Not able to configure wireless when it's not already detected. The keyboard needs function keys. Heavy. Some documents won't open on the table bad for email attachments.

Great Tablet - The stylus makes all the difference

This tablet is a nice change from using a graphics tablet for drawing and putting comments in a document. Otherwise, the VPN tools and using the software to edit MS Office documents work very well.
