Logitech Pure-Fi Dream

Alarm clock, radio, stereo and iPod dock, the Pure-Fi Dream is just dreeeamy! Ugh.

The price means it's not for everyone, but if the Pure-Fi Dream's plentiful mix of features and impressive sound quality are the answer to your prayers, you won't be disappointed.

Logitech - Pure-Fi Dream

170 seems like a lot of money to spend on a clock radio, but the Pure-Fi Dream is no ordinary clock radio. Yes, it will wake you up in the morning and in fact it has ...

If you are utterly attached to your iPod, can live without DAB and don't mind the rather high price tag, then this is definitely an option worth considering.

Logitech Pure-Fi Dream

Logitech's Pure-Fi Dream leads the pack in alarm clock/iPod docks.

Powerful speakers. Strong bass response. Rarely distorts. Easy-to-set alarms. Useful, backlit remote. Motion-controlled snooze feature.

Works with iPhone, but not as gracefully as other docks. No video out.

Logitech's intuitively designed, good-looking, and excellent-sounding Pure-Fi Dream leads the pack in alarm clock/iPod docks.

Logitech Pure-Fi Dream review: Logitech Pure-Fi Dream

Logitech Pure-Fi Dream

Stylish-looking and solidly built AM/FM iPod/iPhone clock radio; motion-controlled snooze mode; decent sound for a compact system; presets for radio stations and iPod playlists; bass and treble controls; backlit remote.

Display is a little small; remote only offers basic control over your iPod; giant power supply.

Logitech's Pure-Fi Dream is one of the stronger entries in the crowded iPod clock radio category.

Here we have a few shots of the system tuned into a local radio station as well as using my iPhone. When using the radio, you can adjust the screen to display the radio station, time or graphic equalizer. The system also supports RDS (Radio Data...

Logitech Pure-Fi Dream [Review]

An alarm-based table-top iPod dock that leaves you wanting for more

Good audio clarity, surround sound, alarm companion, FM and AM Tuner

Basic remote, poor auxiliary input, needs power, large adaptor, needs battery to maintain time

Review: Logitech Pure-Fi Dream

It's here that Dream runs into its major problems. When we first saw the unit a year ago, we told Logitech that we weren't fond of the design, which had an odd shape and placed a little amber-colored clock below the iPod dock rather than using a larger...

There's one other sort of nice thing about Dream: there aren't any external radio antennas. Instead, the back has a single audio port, designed for auxiliary audio input, and the only things you need to connect are the power supply-which is quite...

Consumer review (play.com)

Fantastic little speaker set

Firstly this product has brilliant sound quality and you can tweak it to your own personal preferences (treble bass etc). It is very stylish and fits well into the room and the display automatically adjusts to the ambient lighting conditions so it's...

Good sound quality

Easy to use, love the sound quality, but it does have a habit of forgetting the time which means we keep having to set the time. This can be a problem when it drops out the time setting and it the middle of the night as the alarm doesn't turn on. It...

Great sound, easy to use
