B&O's Beosound 2 boasts a solid build, display-less design and a 512MB SD card to store your music

Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 2 Bang & Olufsen, the Scandinavian electronics company best known for its exquisitely designed--and expensively priced--audio and video equipment, has unleashed its first portable audio device on the world: the BeoSound 2. The...
Sounds awesome ; modern spaceshiplike design will appeal to some; included earbuds sound great and are comfortable.
Extremely expensive; horribly confusing user interface; cannot play DRM-protected WMAs; no LCD; no features of any kind; no internal memory.
The BeoSound 2 sounds absolutely superb, but there's nothing else to justify its sky-high price tag.

Lush, room-filling sound ; Exquisite aluminum craftsmanship ; Adaptable to a wide range of uses and positions
Much pricier than most of its competition ; Some sound fidelity sacrificed in the name of fun ; The Dalek jokes will never end
A 360-degree speaker that’s determined to exterminate boredom in your home

It's a music player meant for those fixated more on style than features, though portable audiophiles will appreciate its sonic delivery.
Stylish design ; Clean audio
Major lack of features ; Indifferent transfer time

Music through mystique
Impeccable craftsmanship with metal ; Sound has weight, clarity and covers a wide area ; Easily transported from room to room
Wi-Fi and Google set-up not very stable ; Gesture control erratic ; Expensive, as expected
If you’re prepared for the sticker shock, the Beosound 2 is typically B&O in its design and build, and also the most fun-sounding desktop smart speaker out there!

Bang & Olufsen's BeoSound 2 is a prime example of a speaker designed to satisfy both lifestyle and audiophile expectations. It's beautiful-looking, it's compact enough not to dominate a living space, and it incorporates forward-looking technology that...

Wow. The 'brand name' of this product is the selling point. The 'sound quality' is due to the earphones that normal people aren't used to hearing. A decent $100 earbud is what sounds good, and it only costs $100.

I have had this player for about 5 years and love it to bits, the sound is glorious, you hear every note every breath, beautiful...
