Fast and reliable

I only use it to store my System Image so I can only say that the Write speeds are very good cutting down the time to backup my entire OS from 1+ hours to under 10 minutes

None after almost 1 year of ownership. Purchased in October of 2013 and working like a champ every day since installation

Pretty Sweet

LIGHT! this thing has somewhat of a thin casing. Works great out of the box, 3 year warranty

As you know, SSD's are just a one piece circuit board, no moving parts etc. But the case is so thin (compared to the kingston ssdnow) it's kind of scary to put any pressure on it. I was expecting a more firm/solid exterior

Totally worth it

I went back and forth a bunch debating whether to drop money on an SSD at about 1/8 the cost of a new laptop, or just go for a new laptop, but this was worth it even if I do end up wanting a new one soon. It won't let it play the latest games or help...

Boosted a 5 year old Dell laptop from painful-to-use to feels-like-new. The machine may still only have 4GB RAM and 2 cores, but apparently the old hard drive was the real performance bottleneck ; Boot time from cold to to Windows 8.1 login screen went...

Great Drive, Free Clone Software Downloadable

This drive has virtually all five star reviews, really with NewEggs Clientele that says enough, but here is a bit more. Drive installed perfectly, I just used some velcro tape in my drive bay, no adapter needed. There is free software for Toshiba...

Fast, light small, large size, great price, free Toshiba Clone Software online

Disappointed with Newegg on this one

I've been a customer since 2007 and never had a problem before. I bought this hard drive because I was going to move my current SSD to another computer. However, I changed my mind for various reasons and tried to get a refund on the hard drive, but...

I'm sure the hard drive is great--I didn't get to install it

1 Star for Newegg on this one

Decent on speeds, but very reliable.

Originally I wanted to purchase two Toshiba's. My Qosmio laptop had an 80gb older Toshiba SSD and that one lasted 2 years without any hiccups or much changes in speed since then. I was thinking of Kingston and Sandisk, but SSD failures after 1 year...

I've purchased both the Samsung Evo and this Toshiba Q series from another vendor during my build a week ago. I was just curious to see which is more reliable between the two hard drives ; With HDTune (I know, not exactly the best software to test), I...

the case looks extremely generic, like it wasn't really for general consumers. Something you would find in an oem laptop ; Can't really complained because those mechnical hard drives didn't look great either except for WD Raptors

Amazing Drive

I wasn't 100% sure that this was compatible with OS X when I purchased it. So, hopefully that gets changed now that i posted my review or my review helps sway some mac owner in the same direction I went because this really is an amazing drive.

I bought this for a macbook pro (even though it says the drive says it's not compatible with OS X; but, just format the drive to the proper file system [Mac OS Extended or one of those options] and it works) ; The stock Seagate 500GB mechanical drive...

I cannot think of any
