The thing to keep in mind folks is that the operating system thinks this is a regular hard drive. These drives are not a magical fix for all of the operating system related issues like fragmentation that happens in normal use. The speed of these drives...
Blazing fast. We are using these drives for a mid level drive replacement for SAS drives in our production systems. These drives are outperforming all of the other SSD drives we have evaluated in this price range. We are seeing over 100Mb/s sustained...

They will be great at first. After a week your write times will slow to a crawl
These drives are cheap. The Firm Ware is old. Goto OCZ forums before you buy. After a weeks worth of use my write times are slower than my raptor. Once slow. You wont get the speeds back. And OCZ expects you to buy Diskeeper@$40 ; Erase your drive and...

If you are concerned about load times SSD is the way to go. I don't know about reliability, but from the specs, just another reason to have this drive if you are concerned about data protection. I have not used cheaper SSDs either, but I wanted the...

Extremely fast drive. I put all of my frequently used applications on this drive (Firefox, Microsoft Office, etc). I used to have this drive as the operating system drive, but now it is a partition that is mounted with the file system (Program Files)....
I first put the operating system (Windows 7 Professional) on this drive, but the bootloader couldn't see this drive after it booted. Most likely a BIOS problem or Windows bootloader problem. I worked around it by making a boot drive (non-solid state)...

SSDs will be the storage medium of the 2010s. We'll be using these drives 'til 3d optical storage comes out.
This is a beast of a drive! Windows 7 only took 10 minutes to install, and it takes 2-3 seconds to get from the welcome screen to desktop. Have yet to experience any lag
Intel's X25-M G2 is still a bit faster, but it's hardly noticable
