We take you through a review of the new Crucial 256 GB SSD with detailed benchmarks!
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Not recommend from this company. Never buy again from Crucial. Not reliable products. Go for Intel or Samsung.
The price seems lower but be aware!
Lost partitions and it's hard to recover from a SSD drive. I bought from Intel before but no any issues.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Fast Cheap (when it was current)
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Not sure why this is now $400. I bought this in Sept. 2012 for $204.
Fast, easy to install. Purchased this over 3 years ago and its still running.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
4 years, mostly uptime, plenty of room for / since /home is another drive
If a log file grows too fast it can thrash
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Had the 128 gb version and wasn't enough space. This one is good but not enough room for games.I'll be upgrading too a larger ssd once the price goes down.
Just enough room for my software. It's fast and reliable. 2 years now an not a single issue for me.
Have to go into the bios setting and change some things to install OS.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
This was my first SSD and now I'm hooked. With some minor BIOS configuring I get a operational boot of 15 seconds using Win 7, SP1. I have my OS and my favorite games on this SSD. I don't miss staring at load screens in Battlefield 3/4 or Skyrim!!!
Easy to install, reliable! Its been running flawlessly now for over a year (installed Nov 2012)
Pricey!

Here's a link of a fix: http://forum.crucial.com/t5/Solid-State-Drives-SSD/How-I-fixed-my-M4-that-wouldn-t-detect-in-the-BIOS/td-p/110964
Well it worked for a while...
It's dead Jim!
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I dread going to Crucial to RMA this, but I must.
Fast, easy to install.
Died abruptly after nine months of use in a home PC. It would only sporadically appear to the BIOS, and when it would actually show up, it was buggy and slow and over-run with errors, and then would just disappear again. It's a brick.
Consumer review (newegg.com)
It was overpriced when bought, but i thought it was time to give it a try since i have always ran raid 0 setups and didn't like the idea of always having 3 hds, 2 for raid, one for back up.I'm a gamer and have never had it crash during play, because of...
Its an SSD,fast, small form factor,3 year warranty
Have had it not show up during boot 2 times, reset and it reappears,I don't use sleep mode, hibernate or defrag (which win 7 should turn off)
