Outstanding 286/287 MBps read/write speed with ATTO ; SandForce SF-1200 processor supports TRIM, SMART, and RAISE+ DuraWrite technology extends NAND lifetime ; Top-level enthusiast operational I/O performance ; Lightweight compact storage solution ;...
Limited warranty and technical support ; Lacks integrated USB Mini-B data connection ; Not 3rd-Generation SATA-6.0 compliant ; No public firmware updates available
Although the rating and final score mentioned in this conclusion are made to be as objective as possible, please be advised that every author perceives these factors differently at various points in time. While we each do our best to ensure that all...

I bought this drive when it had 0 reviews and was $300, 2 weeks ago. Took a chance because this is the V2 version--the previous version, as I understand, had a different SandForce controller and had higher read/write speeds but was MUCH LESS stable....
Very, very fast, even on a SATA II connection (mid-2009 MacBook Pro 15"). The SSD now allows me to boot up in 15 seconds, as opposed to over two minutes with my 7200 RPM drive that I plan to put into the optical drive bay. Everything is nearly instant...
The packaging was DAMAGED, NEW EGG. I sent an email in with pictures. For a $300 unit, this is inexcusable ; Less space than my 512GB 7200 HDD that cost $120

I plan on getting some of these SSDs. They have the same Micron 25nm MLC NAND as other (Crucial M4 series) SSDs, but come with a mounting tray and cost quite a bit less. If I were to buy an SSD in this size capacity (128GB) today, this ADATA S501 V2...
Flash Memory Type ; Micron 25nm MLC NAND ; 3.5" install adapter ; 3 year warranty ; Free Shipping ; Micron Controller not encumbered with the bugs of the Sandybridge Intel SATAIII controller

I had some trouble installing windows 7 64bit Professional on this drive. At the partitioning menu during install the drive wasn't showing up, so I had to change a certain BIOS setting from RAID to ACHI. The problem with this was that it broke my...
Fast drive with 300-330mb read speeds after enabling TRIM ; Plenty of space as a boot drive
Installation issues with RAID ; The screws used to secure the plate to the case are too small ; Not enough reviews on it yet

Emailed the manufacturer, never got a reply. Cant RMA through newegg, so I guess I blew $220 on nothing.
It was super fast while it worked
About three weeks in I was having random reboot issues and it would come up with no os drive detected error. A power down and power up would make it come back and work for awhile. At a month it finally died for good

I have sense purchased one additional for a destop (xeon workstation). Looked at OCZ 3.5 inch drives but their memory switch was a cause of concern. My observations are this. In a desktop I observed only a marginal difference versus a conventional...
This is my first SSD and my decision was based on a replacing my current laptop for a new one. What a difference! Laptop responds much faster and take fulls advantage of the extra money spent on a very fast processer and ram about a year ago. There is...

For the price, this card remains an incredible deal, but as has been said in other reviews, if your purchase is going to be an upgrade from an older card, look to the 6000 series first. Price v. performance those cards are a slightly better deal. All...
this lovely thing screams !!!!!!!! fully worth having...awesome price for its speed... my windows score went from lowest score of 5.4 to 7.2..............thumbs up

Drive is too light to ding an egg for the con; it just sits in the tray just fine. This machine is virtually never moved. Used to upgrade my wife's PC from XP to 7. Definitely flies, and has made her PC much more responsive.
Very fast. Silent. Supports TRIM. Usable size. Includes a 3-1/2" mounting frame and screws
Still pricey. Included frame threaded on the sides, not the bottom, so I could not secure it in the drive tray of an Antec Sonata III

Works well with Mac, and Windows.
Fast data transfers. A single SSD scored better than a raid 0 of 4 7200rpm hard drives. I raid 0 two of these in a MacBook. Very very fast, program load times are nearly instantaneous. Lower power consumption than stock spinning hard drive
Costly, draws more power than other SSDs
