Mustek - BearPaw 2400TA Pro

 

The philosophy underpinning the Mustek range of BearPaw scanners has been on ease of use, and a degree of aesthetics. In the past, this has led to occasional criticisms that the scanner itself doesn't compare too ...

The 2400TA Pro is not bad for an undemanding user (especially if a transparency adapter is a requirement), but you can get better performance for your money elsewhere.

Product Specifications

The Mustek Be@rPaw 2400 was created for those who need an edge when it comes to image quality. Its high-resolution optical sensor allows you to capture greater detail and create stunning digital images. It also includes a front panel with five easy-to-use buttons, which are attached to unique functions such as scanning, faxing, copying and e-mailing. This innovative scanner features Plug and Play scanning through a direct USB connection. Installation of the Be@rPaw couldn't be easier. Thanks to the power of the Universal Serial Bus connection, you simply plug the Be@rPaw scanner into the USB port on your Windows 98 computer. The USB interface permits faster image transfer rates than standard parallel port scanners (up to 12 Mbps) and enables "hot-swapping" so users can connect the scanner only when needed. The Mustek Be@rPaw 2400TA features a built-in transparency adapter for positive and negative scanning (3 slides and 4 films). It offers high resolution for professional quality images and 5 single-touch buttons for handy functional operations. Sound effects increase the fun of scanner's interactive operation.
