We think Sony has released this receiver at an extremely aggressive price point but haven't neglected to fill it with features. An absolute bargain!

It works and sounds good.

Manual is so hard to follow, e.g. to set up speakers read page ??? you get to page ??? and get referred to page ?? and so on. No overview to make it simple to get the idea before complexity sets in. I am sure there are features I won't use only because...

Struggled with programming the remote - but got there in the end!

for the price its very good ,all my things are connected buy hdmi ,52 lcd tv ,p3 .sky hd with optical lead DTS-HD ,DOLBY TRUE HD ,R-D-S ,7 CHANNEL SURROUND ,MUILTI,CHANNEL AV RECEIVER. its all so got 2 digital optical connections ,NEURAL-THX, BI-AMP

apart from instructions BRILLIANT

Just about all, better than a previous model I own.

None really, some of the controls like setting up the radio are not intuative which is a shame.

the "air transmitter" is a nice feature, Also like the digital input which allows you to control a mp3 device via the units remote

the manuals lack of clarity on which should be connected i.e. the manual shows you can connect say a blue ray via hdmi, optical or rgb, it does'nt say which one's can be used together or not

Nice sound, fully featured - works very well when usied with a Bravia TV and the Blu ray player set up. Can be purchased quite cheaply if you shop around

Probably the most difficult peice of electronic kit I've owned to set up, and the most time consuming to do so.

It would've been nice if it converted analog signals (component etc) to digital so you could output everything through HDMI on one channel. However, for the price its hard to expect that
