Epson PowerLite S3

Certainly the most eye-catching feature of the Epson PowerLite S3 is the $799 direct price. But don't misread the price to mean that the S3 is anything less than a first-rate LCD projector. The SVGA native resolution (800-by-600) is the right choice...

Reasonably bright image. Excellent image quality. Relatively light weight. Pass-through monitor connector. On-screen menu is easy to navigate and understand

No digital input. Relatively low volume. The button layout on the remote often makes it hard to find the right button

By pairing a bargain-basement price with excellent image quality and cutting very few corners in the process, Epson has come up with a winner in the PowerLite S3. Easy to set up, easy to use, and light enough to carry around in the supplied carrying...

I am happy

I have no regrets for making this purchase. Plus everyone that walks in to my living room thinks it's awesome too.

I have this hooked up with a 15pin d-sub connector with component video to my directTV HD satelitte receiver. I have it mounted upside down on the celing far back enough to have a 96" screen. For this purpose it is AWESOME. The picture is beautiful. It...

The only thing I don't like about this projector is the fact that it only has a digital zoom. If you can't live with that don't buy this projector

A little limited

I think it will probably get mounted in a room at the church. If it's mounted the correct distance you don't have to worry about zooming at all. And we'll get another LCD Projector has a few more features. :)

It has a nice heavy duty (as LCD Projectors go) case. Nice brightness for smaller presentations

NO Optical Zoom :( I was very disappointed with this and had never seen it before, but it uses a digital zoom it actually resizes the images on the LCD itself reducing the total resolution. Not a very good portable projector unless you have a cart and...

EPSON POWERLITE S3 800 x 600 LCD Projector 1600 ANSI lumens (High Brightness), 1400 ANSI lumens (Low Brightness) 500:1

This is a good starter projector for the novice. It is very easy to use and has a good picture that works just about anywhere its dark. I have enjoyed having a 300 inch LCD display without having to pay thousands for a TV

THe pixel is a little low, but the picture wtill is good enough

EPSON POWERLITE S3 800 x 600 LCD Projector 1600 ANSI lumens (High Brightness), 1400 ANSI lumens (Low Brightness) 500:1

I use this in an office for presentations and training. It works great. Very bright for my uses. Not really any fault of NewEgg but UPS absolutly blows. Thier "3 Day Select" took 6. I will continue to pay more for FedEx.

Works great for my application

Not DLP & it seems a tad bit big

Great HD projector!

I bought this before HD was all the rage and did not realize that it had HD capability until a friend asked about it a few months ago. Turns out that the VGA connection on the back doubles as a component video connection. I know have HD cable from...

Price, HD to 1080i
