A textbook all-round projector with very few flaws
XGA for less than £800 ; Excellent lumens output ; Top-notch colour ratio ; Good film and performance with Macs
Way too loud on full power ; Terrible preset modes
One of the finest all-rounders, only let down by poor colour vibrancy and noisy operation

The X range from InFocus is the potato of the projector world: it mightnot be the most exciting thing on the market but it isn't half versatile. The X3 is the latest in this range

InFocus has made waves in the projector market with its popular X1 and X2 models. Now the third incarnation, the X3, has arrived.
There aren't too many XGA projectors at this price. It is rather noisier than we'd like, but if deep resolution support is what you need, this is very good for the money.

The Infocus X3 projector is meant as much for use at home as in business and education.
Reasonably bright image. Excellent contrast ratio. Good image quality. Audio volume is adequate for a small room. Straightforward menus.
Composite video images (but not S-Video) are a little washed out.

The InFocus X3 is the fourth edition in a series, following the X1, X1A, and X2. Like its predecessors, it is geared towards data presentation, but could double as a part time home theater projector in a pinch. Unlike its predecessors, its native...

This thing cost over 1,000 dollars when i bought it and now its down 200+ dollars man i would recomend this to anybody. Don't get a big screen tV.. GET THIS.. your won't be disapointed i promise you!
Great Picture ; Long lasting lamp life ( have had it for 8 months and only used 136 lamp hours out of 2000) ; Multiple imputs ; ease of use ; What more can you ask for
Only bad thing i can think of is, on some of the movie i play off the computer it doesn't have the finest detail on dark scenes but it might also be the quality of the video

I have this projector hooked up to my PC and my DirecTV adn game systems, everything pretty much. It is fantastic. I have never had any trouble out of it
Lamp life could be better. The only downfall to projectors is a $400 lamp about every year
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I am gonna be bold and wait to see King Kong on the projector rather than in the theatre :0
Its beautiful, you know how people say you must see a movie in the theatre.... not anymore :)
Heat, its the con to all electronics
Consumer review (newegg.com)
This projector is pretty awesome. My requirements were 1024x768 and DLP. I am very satisfied. I have it hooked up to my cable box and computer at the same time. Switching between the two is easily accomplished with the provided remote. Brightness is...
