Dead Pixels?

Good quality, particularly in HD. Somewhat easy to use, I haven't used the 3D

I have owned this projector for about 3 weeks, I have used it regularly. Yesterday a big white and black spot appeared in one of the corners in addition to a few horizontal and vertical lines. The projector was awesome up until this happened. I'm...

Wow AMAZING

Best bang for the buck...period.. END of story

So I, LIKE YOU, was reading reviews on this before I bought it. Let me say, the reviews are true, it is worth WAAAY more then a 600 dollar pricetag. I play Bluerays and Call of Duty 3, Skyrim, on a PLAIN wall and it blows my mind and my friends. I have...

Menu and otions can be a little confusing at first

OLD Stock

Good brightness, clarity and throw distances

The unit i received was a pre-August 2010 model, which didnt have support for Nvidia 3d vision (as advertised on newegg) And of course OPTOMA claims the update cant be done by the user so i ended up sending back to OPTOMA for the update. I paid $30 to...

Great projector

This projector is great! I'm replacing an old infocus X1 - mainly just to upgrade to HD. I had to use a real projector mount instead of hanging from chains on the ceiling due to the offset mounting screws, but this isn't a real issue. You do have to...

Great picture, plenty bright, easy to set up, lots of image adjustment options. Overall this is a really great projector

Would have liked more zoom range. Fan is really loud. Mounting screws aren't distributed around the projector's center of gravity. Setting needed adjustment to get a good picture

Great Projector!

If you are on the fence of buying a projector, do it! If you want 3D capability get this one along with the 3D-XL converter box that is coming out in January. But if 3D doesn't matter to you, Get the Optoma HD20, it is pretty much the same projector...

Very bright and amazing color, it is more than bright enough to have a couple lights on and still watch the game on! The picture rivals my dads plasma screen downstairs. The settings out of the box aren't bad, but could use some tweaking so play around...

While it has got built in speakers, they are a little weak to be honest. Don't even think about trying to watch a movie with the built in speakers. Although the speakers are fine for some games like COD: Black Ops. But, it does have an audio out so you...

Great projector

Native resolution is 1280 x 800. I'm using it for both Blue-Ray Movie in home Theater and for WOW Gaming. Looks good for both.

Great picture, low price, setup was easy. HDMI is great. Great first projector

Optoma HD66

Great information from a review of the projector, by Bill Livolsi at ProjectorCentral.com, regarding the tweaking of the projectors, brightness, contrast, and color settings. Very informative. Also, thank Newegg for most of the components.

Bought to watch movies, It is awesome. I am in the process of setting up a home theatre, and am presently using a folded bed sheet as a screen. 80"X48" total size picture. Just watched all the Starwars movies, the colors were great, and the battle...

Only a quick start folder for setup, not very helpful. Printed the manual off the CD

Great deal

Awesome

Use it for gaming/movies via. HDMI, and given the price, and a bit of time googling good configuration, it's a great projector. I'm casting 140 inches in a dorm room and even with ambient light, the thing still shows vivid, defined colors and pretty...

Audio out cant be controlled via. remote. No horizontal keystone adjustment
