BenQ - MP771 projector

It used to be the case that projectors weighed a ton, had to be placed in a room the size of a garage in order to have half a chance of achieving a decent focus, needed ...

BenQ's MP771 stands above most of the competition thanks to its excellent short-throw capability which means that projections can take place in any size room with well above average clarity.

BenQ MP771

The BenQ MP771 is a short-throw projector suited for small spaces.

Short throw. High-quality image with good brightness and contrast ratio. Analog and digital connections.

Although sound quality is good, the volume is barely loud enough for even a small room.

BenQ MP771

A projector is a bigger cousin of the TV, and is what a true video enthusiast would always opt for. It's been a while since we reviewed a projector at Tech2.0, and what better way to break the impasse than by looking at the very popular BenQ MP771?...

This BenQ projector costs Rs 85,990 plus taxes. I would say it's great for cinema; but not so much for presentations. Games also look sexy. Credit is due for the large screen sizes obtainable, but the high price and less than picture-perfect image put...

BenQ MP771 - Tech2

A large, sturdy projector with a unique short-throw feature... so what if it doesn't come cheap?

BenQ MP771 Review

This projector scores with a great short throw lens and vibrant video reproduction, but lack of an HDMI port and a price tag of Rs 80,000 might make you want to look elsewhere.

I really like this Projector! I like it a lot more than my own BenQ MP512, well I mean it's more than double the price of the 512, so it's got to be better and higher quality than the 512!

Product Specifications

Wish you could enjoy a big-screen show, but don't think the space you have in mind is large enough? Then the BenQ MP771 is your small-space solution. That's because this premium, high-brightness XGA projector has an amazing short-throw ratio, enabling large-screen projection from a close range. It's perfect for places where space is limited, like partition rooms, small conference rooms, lecture halls or classrooms where physical layout forces the projector to be up close to the screen. With its smart short-throw ratio, the MP771 makes big screen viewing easy for smaller areas, such as departmental meeting rooms or living rooms-where it can deliver a phenomenal experience with the interactive games currently in vogue. Able to project a 74" picture from just a mere meter away, the MP771 not only overcomes space constraints, but positioning it close to the screen keeps the movements of viewers from affecting the picture. The short-throw ratio also makes it more practical & safe for presenters to stand between the projector and audience, avoiding the annoyance and health risks of the bright projector lamp shining into their eyes. The MP771's short-throw ratio means limited space no longer limits your big-screen viewing pleasure. With the MP771's advanced optical technologies, you can count on high-impact, richly-colored presentations any time, regardless of ambient lighting conditions or onscreen content. The MP771 automatically enhances brightness levels while maintaining an impressive high contrast ratio.
