HP Deskjet 3630 review

A great printer for occasional use, but ink can be pricey

It's really cheap ; Decent quality and speed ; Instant Ink offers genuine savings

Looks and feels flimsy ; Shop-bought cartridges are expensive ; Basic paper handling

Deduct 2 stars if you don't go for Instant Ink: normal cartridges have high per-page costs.

HP DeskJet 3630 review

It's basic, but for many people this printer, scanner and copier will do the job - and you can even print from your phone and tablet.

The up-front cost of the DeskJet 3630 is genuinely good value for money. The colour ink cartridges aren’t too expensive either, so you can certainly use the printer for the occasional photo print, or for school reports or presentations that use colour...

HP DeskJet 3630 review

  (Rating Hidden)

This HP Deskjet 3630 is a cheap all-in-one printer. It's not completely devoid of features - it has wi-fi, which lets you print from a range of devices. It turns out text prints quickly for a cheap printer, but are they good quality and is it cheap to...

HP DeskJet 3630 Printer Review

Finding a printer that has everything you need is a difficult task. For most users the ability to copy, scan and print is the desired package, therefore an all-in-one printer is the best option. The HP DeskJet 3630 printer is one of HP's most recent...

Easy setup ; High quality prints ; Smartphone- and tablet-friendly ; Doesn’t cost too much

PPM could be better ; Design is a little boring

As far as printers go, the HP DeskJet 3630 has been a joy to use. The simplistic nature of the control panel might not appeal to some, however there’s no doubting that it works well and is perfectly fine for the average user.

HP DeskJet 3630 review

Printing quality and speed could be better, but the DeskJet 3630 comes with enough special features - from full wireless connectivity to a unique ink replacement service - to make it a worthy budget MFP. Anyone who can spend more probably should, but...

Cheap, supports WiFi and WiFi Direct, eligible for money-saving HP Instant Ink, LCD screen, includes Quiet Mode

Flimsy plastics, mixed printing quality, slow operation, ink cartridges are expensive by themselves

HP Deskjet 3630 review

Printers have come a long way and less is more now as the HP Deskjet 3630 shows.

The printer is actually really quiet during print jobs and at just over 4 kgs and 438 x 553 x 256 mm it fits nicely in small offices or home offices.

Does exactly what it says

Past wireless printers were not good but this is great. It quite simply does exactly what it says. It was easy to set up too so I cannot fault this, especially for the price.
