Looking for an iPod alternative? Creative's Zen Sleek is possibly its best player yet, but does it have what it takes?
I haven’t had much contact with Creative’s players since it launched the original Zen, which was frankly, an awful brick of a player. Since then, it’s clearly decided to ape the iPod as much as it can. The Zen Sleek echoes the curves edges of the iPod...

If you thought that Apple was first to offer a hard disk based music player think again. It debuted the iPod a full year or so after they had first appeared and in those pioneering days the key model that everyone talked about wore the Creative...

Those non-Apple-fanboys over at Anything But iPod have posted a hands-on review of the stylin' Creative Zen Sleek. You know, that 20GB MP3 player with FM tuner (with recorder), voice recorder, and WMA PlaysForSure support all in a package that...

Creative Zen Sleek: solid but uninspiring Not to sound like a broken record, but there's a reason why Apple's iPod dominates the MP3 landscape like King Kong dominates Skull Island--its intuitive design and seamless relationship with iTunes make it...
The Creative Zen Sleek is a solid, music-only WMA device with an FM tuner; voice and FM recording; and compatibility with Outlook contacts, calendars, and tasks. Large controls and a sleek body make this solid-sounding device a nice, affordable...
The Creative Zen Sleek lacks a color screen for viewing photos or video, and its overall design is uninspiring. In addition, the device has a messy proprietary dock-connector cabling system, and the touch pad may not be the right interface for some users.
The Creative Zen Sleek is a decent WMA alternative for those looking for a music-only high-capacity MP3 player.

The Creative Zen Sleek is a solid, no-frills 20GB hard drive player, and worth a look if you find it at a decent price.
Good audio quality. Easy to use. Sturdy shell. Works with online music services.
Voice recording quality isn't great. No line-in capability. Occasional lag when performing some actions. Battery life isn't stellar.
Plugging the Sleek into our PC (running Microsoft Windows XP) and syncing itincluding playlist filesusing Windows Media Player 10 was simple. We were also able to load the player using Windows Explorer and Napster. You can sync with your Microsoft...

This 20GB player is sleek and easy to use, and it has a can't-miss screen.

A worthy alternative to Apple's ultra-popular iPod.

The Zen Sleek is newest line of Creative's 1.8" hard drive based players succeeding the Zen Touch. Currently it comes with a 20GBs of storage in a sleek aluminum outer shell with a touch pad and tactile buttons on the front. The Zen Sleek is smaller in...
The Zen Sleek is a good solid digital audio player with its smooth design, user friendly operating system, nice big screen, and great sound. If you need a decent amount of space without the extra frills of photo viewing at a good price you will be...
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Excellent sound quality. Quite light for the size. Software easy to use. Looks great.
Have had some trouble getting the device to reboot after adding music. Took a little while to get used to the navigation tools but once mastered it's simple and efficient.
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
It matches it's name- sleek
takes a while getting used to the rolling navigating pad but easy to use other than that. the software is very easy to use as well and it takes very little time to transfer music or files.
