Philips 107T

Great on-screen controls and generous tech support don't make up for the poor text and graphics quality of this 17-inch monitor.

17IN/16V 1920x1440 30-92khz 107b20 PNP 21mm OSD

WHAT'S HOT: Philips has put thought into the design of this monitor, enclosing it in a gracefully curvy compact case with teardrop-shaped controls on the bezel. Its on-screen controls have more text explanations than most, so you always know why you're...

The 107B20 might be suitable for users with tight budgets and small workspaces, but only if graphics do not constitute a significant portion of their work.

Budget monitor comes in an attractive package, but its image quality fails to impress.

Those with tight budgets and small workspaces might give this model a look, but only if graphics does not constitute a significant portion of their work.

Philips 107-E51 Monitor

Recently, Samsung 17-inch monitors have been in the news for the wrong reasons. For acute shortage of stocks, to be precise. Your loss is often your competitor's gain. That saying holds true in this case too. Philips is one that believes in making hay...

Good bargain monitor

Since you're even looking at this, I assume you want a CRT. Obviously LCD screens are better, but this is just fine on a budget.

Seems to work 100% automatically with my set-up. 1280x1024 resolution at 32 bpp, no sweat.

Has a *really* odd appearance; it honestly looks like a TV to me.

Amazing x10

Light, very light, you can carry it onder one arm(if your careful).

Flicking from one resolution to another is a little slow, but livable.

PHILIPS 107E66 Black 17" CRT Monitor 0.27mm Dot Pitch D-Sub

The price is great, but the image quality suffers a bit. A visible mesh pattern is present on the monitor, because it's a shadowmask CRT with a 0.27mm dot pitch. You might want something with a lower dot pitch if you stare at it for a few hours a day....

PHILIPS 107E66 Black 17" CRT Monitor 0.27mm Dot Pitch D-Sub

This is a nice monitor that gives you a very sharp picture. I've only had it a week but so far I'm impressed and I would buy it again.

Good monitor

I built a system using this model as my monitor. Excellent price to value ratio. No problems. Up and running for 2 months now. Very light for a 17" crt. Less weight = less shipping. I use 1024 x 768 at 85hz.
