Hanns-G HW191D-SB-F review: So we'd all kill for a 30 inch, 2560 x 1600 monster panel, that's a given. But for those with less lavish means - not to mention less glamorous graphics cards - such resolutions are nigh-on impossible to attain

Fast and bright, Vibrant colours, Budget price point

The looks are a bit shoddy

Hanns-G hasn't produced an award winner, but the HW191D-SB-F is a capable, decent monitor for the bargain-hunting panel shopper

Hanns.G - HW191DP

 

Hanns.G may not be a familiar name to most PC users in this country, but this branch of the HannStar Corporation (which manufactures niche panel and LCD TV products) has already started to make an impact ...

Slim and elegant, this is a no-frills monitor of decent quality that allows you to alternate between analogue and digital sources at a surprisingly affordable price.

Good all round

 

I prefer the more square shape this monitor gives when I am looking at websites or working on documents. Excellent for iplayer and movies too even if there is a black space top and bottom.

Excellent for the office

 

I got this monitor after my last Hanns-G died after 10 years - not a bad length of service. And the other two Hanns-G screens I got at the same time are still going strong, so I'd expect this one to last too.

It's as described - didn't remember reading it had built in speakers in the product information on the site, so that was a bonus and nice surprise. It was very easy to set up - I did it in a matter of moments.
