Spice S1200 12MP Mobile Phone

The 12MP camera phone from Spice packs a 3x optical zoom, a CCD sensor and a Xenon flash to rival budget point and shoot cameras.

Good image quality for a camera phone ; 3x optical zoom ; Good noise control in low lights ; Xenon Flash ; Quick to focus in good light ; Simple interface

Average look and build quality ; Cramped keypad ; Poor media playback ; Poor connectivity ( No WiFi and 3G) ; No multitasking ; Camera slow to focus in low light

The Spice 1200 12MP is the only camera phone that has optical zoom in the current market, it uses a CCD sensor and came with Xenon flash. It has an excellent camera in phone's standard but its sub-par features for its asking price is what brings down...

Spice S-1200

For those who want a basic phone but with a good camera

Good camera quality in day light, 3x optical zoom, xenon flash, solid build quality

High noise levels in low light images, bulky, cramped keypad, flash is not very powerful, no 3.5mm headphone jack, no 3G, GPS or Wi-Fi, no way to disable time stamp in camera
