Arguably one of the best cameraphones on the market, but what's it like as a straightforward phone?

The K800i was good. The K810i is even better
Slimline 3G phone ; 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus ; Great value for money
Limited smartphone-style customisation ; Memory card costs extra
This is a cracking 3G handset that offers a wide range of features for your money

Sony Ericsson's K810i is a mid-range mobile phone with a fairly neat design, lots of features and an emphasis on photography. It is a tri-band GSM handset with 3G and it has a front facing camera ...
The K810i has a definite emphasis on photography and it does its job well in this respect, but there are many other features here too.

The new Sony Ericsson K810i is probably the perfect mobile phone for those who want it all but don't want to pay a fortune for it for it. Its superslim new profile, better battery life and improved styling from the K800i make a great handset even better

Good camera ; BestPic feature ; excellent display screen ; easy to use
Not much improvement over the K800i ; poor video quality

We review the Sony Ericsson K810i Cybershot - can it match the enviable reputation of its predecessor, the legendary K800i?
3.2 megapixel camera ; Cybershot ; Compact candybar
Flimsy design ; Nasty keys
A front running camera phone that lacks the solidity of the K800i

The Cyber-shot K800i won a shelfload of awards, but how do you trump such a successful handset? According to Sony Ericsson: do nothing drastic.…
Apart from the great camera, the redesigned keypad and camera shortcuts make it even easier to use
Some of you may think the K810i hasn't moved on enough to upgrade
The K810i builds on the original winning formula for a more realised handset. Still a fantastic camera phone.

Inauguration of the company's new flagship, namely Sony Ericsson K810i, was accompanies by tons of sharp criticism, and the reasons for that were many. How come, while competitors are releasing 5 Mpix-armed models, we are presented with the same...
Looking at the left-hand side reveals the music button, that can be set up to launch the radio, player or the last used application. Further down is Memory Stick M2 memory expansion slot

The K810i is an excellent phone. The keypad gets a bit grubby and you might not like the small metal keys. A thinner and better-looking version of the K800.
Looks good, Good 3.2 megapixel camera, Plenty of features
Keypad buttons might not suit you, Navigation keys are a bit cramped together, Fingerprints very visible on the keypad
