Sony Ericsson C901 Heart Preview

The Sony Ericsson C901 GreenHeart is the first handset from Sony Ericsson's GreenHeart range of eco-friendly phones. The handset is manufactured using mainly recycled or recycleable materials and waterborne…

Sony Ericsson C901 Heart Review

"Part of the GreenHeart range, the Sony Ericsson C901 features a 5-megapixel camera with a Xenon flash."

It's more than just a token 'green' handset, though. The Sony Ericsson C901 is a traditional candybar style phone with a 5-megapixel camera - which also benefits from a Xenon flash, autofocus, 16x digital zoom and smile detection software. The Sony...

Sony Ericsson C901 review: Cyber-shot reloaded

At first, you might think that the Sony Ericsson C901 is just another 5-megpaixel cameraphone. Well, that's not terribly exciting in the current market bustling with 8-megapixel snappers, and probing...

Xenon and LED flash equipped 5-megapixel cameraphone, videocalling ; Lots of dedicated camera controls ; Active camera cover ; Quad-band GSM support ; 3G with HSDPA 3.6 Mbps ; 2.2" 256K-color display of QVGA resolution ; Accelerometer for screen...

Video recording maxes out at QVGA@30fps ; No document viewer ; Memory card slot under the battery cover ; Disappointing retail package contents

which - interestingly enough - is the only C901 flavor currently available on the Sony Ericsson website

Sony Ericsson C901 GreenHeart

The C901 is a Cybershot branded phone, but unlike the most recent devices from Sony Ericsson, the C901 uses Sony's proprietary Memory Stick Micro cards instead of the more common microSD cards. The camera itself has a 5 megapixel sensor, Xenon flash,...

Sony Ericsson C901

This 5 megapixel device appears to be a straight replacement for the C902, but with a larger and more conventional display. From our measurements, this is a 2.2" panel rather than the 2.0" panel in the old C902. Although we liked the touch sensitive...

Sony Ericsson C901

The Sony Ericsson C901 features a 5-megapixel camera that sports auto focus, Smile shutter, BestPic, Smart Contrast, Face detection, PhotoFix as well as geo-tagging.

We will have to say that that this is an outstanding camera on an average phone. The buttons are small and the screen is weak, but you can sure shoot a mean set of pictures with the C901.

This is a very good phone but it does lack what others have at this time. Its has a very good camera which slides out at the top, basically the same as the cyber shot. If your looking for a simple phone that has got a good battery life then this is t...
