Sanyo Katana II

Hoping to gain more of an edge, Sprint gives its thin phone a very slight refresh.

Slim and attractive. Loud. Sanyo has a great reputation for reliability.

There's some distortion at top volume. Very basic feature set. Our model had a bug in its vibrate mode.

Sanyo Katana II review

When Sanyo and Sprint launched the Sanyo Katana a year ago, we called it yet another Razr competitor, and couldn't help but compare it to the infamous skinny flip phone. Indeed, the Sanyo Katana had a slim silhouette that looked remarkably like the...

The Sanyo Katana II offers a more streamlined design and increased memory when compared to the first Katana. It's also very affordable.

The Sanyo Katana II is not that much of an upgrade from its predecessor. The photo quality was also subpar, and we felt the side buttons were too skinny.

While the Sanyo Katana II is not hugely improved over the first Katana, it's still a pretty good phone, especially for its price range.

Sanyo Katana II Review

The Katana-II is a modest upgrade from the original Katana model, with a change in styling being the main difference. Since this device's primary function is as a cell phone, we are please that the reception and call quality was top-notch, with no...

Sanyo Katana II 6650 Mobile Phone Review and Prices

The Sanyo Katana II is yet another addition to the slim flip-phone market. With a thickness of only 3/5 of an inch, the profile is small while still offering a reasonable number of multimedia features. Probably the best thing about this phone, however,...

Thin, good speakerphone, inexpensive, great call quality, four vibrating alerts

Lousy camera, poor LCDs

Sanyo Katana-II

The Sanyo Katana-II is the perfect example of a phone that looks great, is easy to use, but lacks all of the features that a phone of this design should include. This, however, places the Sanyo Katana-II into a great niche that is relatively unexplored...

Small and stylish ; Easy to read LCD screen

Not too many features ; Terrible battery life ; No 3G support

The Sanyo Katana-II is a great phone for those looking for a device without all of the cumbersome features. While not great by any means, the Sanyo Katana-II is cheap (or free in some cases). All in all, check out the Sanyo Katana-II but be sure to...

Katana II Works, but That's About It!

This was my first cell phone, and I'm still using actually. I got it a little less than a year ago. The first thing I did was block data transfer and internet access because I just wanted a phone that, well, phoned. For that reason, this is a good...

it works alright, lets you block data transfers for security purposes

doesn't do much, has some weird glitches sometimes
