The Samsung Gravity 2 offers T-Mobile subscribers a solid, sharply styled messaging handset at a very affordable price.
Good call quality. Sharp looks for a budget device. Solid music and video playback.
Somewhat difficult to use. Proprietary headphone jack. Poor screen.

The Samsung Gravity was one of T-Mobile 's first messaging phones, and while we liked it, it did not have a lot of features. It had no 3G, no GPS, and only a 1.3-megapixel camera. However, its sequel, appropriately dubbed the Samsung Gravity 2, fixed...
The Samsung Gravity 2 is thinner than its predecessor, plus it features several upgrades, notably 3G support, a 2.0-megapixel camera, GPS, and a full HTML browser. It has pretty good quality and is quite affordable.
The Samsung Gravity 2 has rather tiny navigation keys, and the streaming video quality could be a bit better.
The Samsung Gravity 2 offers a lot of features for a very low price, making it a great deal for T-Mobile customers.

Still somewhat fresh off the release of the Samsung Gravity for T-Mobile, Samsung is already back with a successor to the side-sliding QWERTY handset – enter the Samsung Gravity 2 SGH-T469. Sporting a thinner profile, this messaging oriented phone has...

Like its predecessor, the Samsung Gravity 2 is designed for heavy messaging users. To make this happen, a roomy QWERTY keyboard slides out from its candy bar form. There's plenty of room for each key – four rows including a row for numbers –...
Spacious slide-out QWERTY keyboard, gPS with turn-by-turn directions, workable 2-megapixel camera
IM and email choices are limited, proprietary headphone jack, screen is small for web surfing

Testing it on one of the most important feature i.e. the voice quality during the calls.. and hallelujah, I was impressed.. clear sound, no static… what else could I ask for?? On the callers end too, he was pretty much content with the voice quality...
Amazing speakers, stunning looks, easy on the pocket, expandable memory
The keypad is small and flat, the battery life is awful, no 3.5 standard headphone support or USB dongle, also the service provide support is rather poor, functional problems; you can run only about 50 playlists at a time also there is no support for...
:Well if your looking for a basic phone with a few added features (which might not function properly at times.. that's just why I call it a basic phone) and stunning looks you could go for this one.. I would also recommend this phone to first time...

Primarily designed for messaging, the Samsung Gravity 2 isn't a particularly high-end phone. There's a standard 2.4" 240 x 320 pixel display, a fairly basic 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, an MP3 player and support for microSD expandable memory.
Consumer review (letstalk.com)
New Samsung user, having only used Nokia phones over the past few years. The Gravity2 is VERY intuitive, scores high marks for ease of use, however, call quality is poor, and battery life is abysmal. If those two areas could be improved, I'd give a 5...
Consumer review (viewpoints.com)
So I really like this phone but I like it just exactly as much as I love my regular Gravity and for the extra hundred dollars I would just go with the Gravity. There is almost no difference between the two phones except the price and a couple of...
